Some Q+A on becoming an affiliate
How labour intensive is it?
As with any venture - the more you put in the more you get out.
We offer a constant stream of promotional ideas and means to encourage your site visitors to visit and shop at Yoga-ez. It can be as simple as placing banners, text links or other in-context content into your pages. We know however that content is king and is a proven way of not only turning a cold call into a 'warm-to-buy prospect'. We are keen to offer content rich promotional material for you to feature in context on your site. This has the added benefit of being very attractive to the search engines that are after all the major reason for creating any web site's traffic numbers.
Do I have to have a web site to enrol?
It is the most profitable avenue to follow but not neccessarily the only one.
If you have an e-mail address and wish to place a link within your signature or even just rave about Yoga-ez with one of our supplied text links in your copy you are able to benefit from all subsequent sales.
It does however increase your business opportunities if you have a web site. The more related the site or contextual copy is to our products the more the 'open to buy' customer is ready to spend their money through your recommendation. There is nothing as powerful as pre-selling. Niche markets are proving to be the success stories of web marketing. It is only limited by your creative imagination as to how to develop the traffic flow to our site.
Do I get paid regularly for sales attributed to my leads?
Yes - the affiliate program automatically registers your unique referral link and knows that it is your sales lead. Once the sale has completed and after a 30 day period to allow for returns or other sale refund reasons, your specified account will be credited with the amount due to you.
You are paid one month in arrears and all sales and pending sales are in real time. You can see what you have earned and when. We send affiliate cheques out on the 15th of every month.
The quicker you build sales the quicker you get paid for your partnership efforts.
There is also the opportunity to recruit your own affiliates to the program and earn commission from that stream.
Is there a minimum traffic level to join?
We do not require minimum traffic levels for affiliates to join our program. We are fully aware that the low traffic website of today might grow to become what we call a premier partner of tomorrow. Even if you only have a few hits per day, you are welcome to join our program as an affiliate.
Why does my partnership with your site need to be approved?
We like to be able to review each site as we are aware that there are certain standards that we would like our partners to meet so that the quality and integrity of our service is reflected in all our partner referrals. This helps all affiliates as the power of ethical and quality trading is upheld and spread. When we visit your website we will determine if your website adheres to those standards that we have set. If so, we will approve you as an affiliate in our program. If not, we will decline your application. On your application you will be sent an email with guidelines your website has to adhere to.
