The only true power to influence is in numbers - and numbers is what the Web is all about. To be able to connect and communicate on the scale that is afforded by the Web is awesome. To harness that tremendous connectivity is the web equivalent of the Holy Grail.

Sharing the Vision

Back in the days of the boom and bust decades, I attempted to convince the money baron persuaders that integrity had value - naively thinking that art in their heart would override greed. It took some years for me to realise that aspirational idealism was not 'where the money was' for these guys.

It drove me to etch out my own path toward a vision I held dear - part of that vision is the kernel of what we offer here -changing ways and means helping bring about a sea change in living.

It is built on the premise that people cannot be forced into changing ways and means but are more likely to be trained into it. Meet them on their own terms and at their own level.

Most great spiritual masters meet the student at the level they are at, encouraging them to make decisions themselves within their own terms of reference.

In our humble way we are proposing something similar here. Please understand - we are not holding ourselves up as any great spiritual master - more spiritual seekers in search of great ways forward.

In our industrialised, consumer driven world it has a major effect in contributing to excess, oversupply, wasteful energy, pollution often, inequality and exploitation. Equally, utilised sensibly, creating the appropriate demand through consumer purchasing power, a gradual change and emphasis can be brought to bear on those services and suppliers who ignore best practice and sustainability. and thus hinder changing wats and means.

It was Mahatma Gandhi who famously said "There is enough in this world for all our need but not for all our greed"
