We have seen the number of beginners who produce a beach towel or training mat and proceed to slip across the studio as if on ice!

Certainly a mat can be chosen as a cheap yoga mat option but safety needs to be paramount. A mat that is eco friendly and thus helps the sustainable mat option to be adopted, is perfect.

When it comes to kitting out yoga supplies, in the West there is a penchant for trendy looks and fasion statements. Albeit this was not a concern for the originators of yoga practice, todays yogis and yoginis are excused their 'need' for looks and a fashion statement in their choice of supplies.

Books
